Octopus' Garden
by The Beatles
(perfromed by Ringo)
I'd like to be under the sea
In an octopus's garden in the shade
He'd let us in, knows where we've been
In his octopus's garden in the shade
I'd ask my friends to come and see
In an octopus's garden with me
I'd like to be under the sea
In an octopus's garden in the shade
We would be warm below the storm
In our little hideaway beneath the waves
Resting our head on the sea bed
In an octopus's garden near a cave
We would sing and dance around
because we know we can't be found
I'd like to be under the sea
In an octopus's garden in the shade
We would shout and swim about
The coral that lies beneath the waves
Oh what joy for every girl and boy
Knowing they're happy and they're safe
We would be so happy you and me
No one there to tell us what to do
I'd like to be under the sea
In an octopus's garden with you
in an octopus's garden with you
in an octopus's garden with you
As soon as I saw this picture without reading the information, I instantly thought of that song. Did you use a blue pen or pencil for this? I've had some pictures with a similar appearance that were drawn in blue ballpoint pen.
I did it in pencil and than used photoshop to bring out some color.
I'm so glad to hear that you this picture reminded you of the song. Than my job here is nearly done. (there are still a thousand things I could do better, and I'm fully willing to do them)

When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

Give to me your leather...
Take from me... my lace
You in the moonlight
With your sleepy eyes
Could you ever love a woman like me?
There is beauty in all of my imperfections
